We reflect on our history as a church, looking forward with anticipation to what God is doing in us and through us this year as we fulfil our God-given vision to, ‘Invade the Darkness and Establish the Light’. (4-5.) We’ve doubled our interviews now so you can read the exciting visions for carmel: youth and carmel: bible college. (14-15.)Our annual Empowered Women’s Conference in February (6-7) has already touched and changed many lives: we believe the forthcoming special conferences for Youth, for Valiant Men and for Leaders will also further inspire, impact and equip people for the ongoing work of the Gospel.
As we reach out further into the community we need to adjust to change, both individually and corporately. Pastor Gerri’s article highlights ‘The Benefits of Transition’ (8-10) and Michelle’s article (12-13) challenges us to consider whether we are ‘Aligning to Purpose’.We thank God for the faithful men and women who support us, pray for us, give us time and service in so many different ways. Whether you are part of this local church, or guests and visitors who have become our extended family, we want you to know you’re very precious to us. Without you, God’s purpose and vision for us here could not be fulfilled.what He is going to do.
