X-STREAM
X-Stream impacts the community by establishing strong links and supportive relationships with those in prison and their families. The team makes weekly visits to local prisons assisting the Chaplaincy in their work with the prisoners. This may involve activities such as drama and sports groups which all link to a ‘life skills’ theme.
Through the provision of practical help and life skills the X-Stream team helps prisoners prepare for completing their sentence and leaving prison. This ‘outreach arm’ of carmel: church encourages re-evaluation of purpose and destiny and enables people to be better equipped to live a productive life in society without re-offending.
